A beginning massage course with love and humor, using Thai massage principles which are easy to apply. Class begins with a chant and meditation, simple Thai Yoga exercises for centering and finishes with singing. A simple massage sequence starts with the feet, legs, stomach, chest Then the back, neck and head.Learn to touch and sense by using palms, thumbs, arms, elbows, knees and feet following the Sen energy lines. Thai massage also uses applied yoga stretches. Massage your friends and loved ones.

Jyoti- Jody has lived in Thailand and studied extensively with Pichet Boonthume, Asokanada, and was assistant in residence at Wat Po. She has a diploma from The College of Ayurveda in Kerala, India and is recognized by both the Thai and Indian governments. Her work with HIV patients, using essentail oils and Thai massage appeared in Massage Magazine.She has practiced yoga for 25 years as well as Chi Kung, and Tai Chi. She is also a professional singer who has sung with Ravi Shankar and a Theravada Buddhist.
